Today, we have released the SovLabs Plugin version 2020.2.0 for vRA7.x to General Availability. Below is a bullet point summary of the software release.
All 2020.x releases will require a SovLabs 2020.x License Key.
Please contact your SovLabs Account Manager to obtain a new key or open a ticket.
What’s New?
ServiceNow Connector 2020.2.0
A new 2020.x License Key is required.
- ServiceNow Request Number is passed in to the VM Properties. The ServiceNow Request Number can be referenced via property key: snow_request_number
- Permissions were updated to allow non-ServiceNow Admin users to perform Day2 operations on a deployment/VM
SovLabs vRA Extensibility Modules
A new 2020.x License Key is required
Ansible Tower
- Added manual vRO workflows into Ansible Tower > Wrappers to perform Ansible Tower Job Runs (provision and disposal). This workflow assumes all the pre-requisites for SovLabs Ansible Tower module is performed.
F5
- Resolved an issue for F5 module would fail on Register DNS when SovLabs IPAM module was not used for the VIP. Now, DNS will register if SovLabs DNS module is licensed but the IPAM Profile is not specific.

VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) 7.4 and 7.5 Notice. On December 17, 2020, VMware is ending general support for vRA 7.4/7.5
vRA 7.5 Notice
The minimum SovLabs plug-in version compatible for VMware’s vRA 7.5 is 2018.2.6.
vRA 7.6 Notice
The minimum SovLabs plug-in version compatible for VMware’s vRA 7.6 is 2019.8.0.
