Custom Naming
SovLabs Custom Naming module for vRealize Automation enables administrators to easily manage multiple naming standards through data-driven profiles, allowing IT to keep up with changing architectural and application standards or changes to the business such as department re-alignment, acquisitions or mergers.
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Active Directory (AD) is a crucial requirement in most Windows server deployments. With the SovLabs Microsoft Active Directory module for vRealize Automation, organizations can flexibly drive Windows server registration with Microsoft Active Directory.
Learn MoreNotifications
The SovLabs Notifications Module provides an easy yet highly flexible way to send email or REST-based web service notifications based on the success or failure of machine lifecycle events.
Lifecycle Components Toolkit
With the SovLabs Lifecycle Components Toolkit (LCT) for vRealize Automation, administrators create provisioning “profiles” consisting of both script components and SovLabs modules which can each be aligned to specific lifecycles. Additionally, the profiles can be applied to blueprint machine components.
Property Toolkit
Custom properties are not just a popular feature of vRealize Automation. They’re essential to capturing catalog request information and to better leveraging the extensibility of vRealize Automation via workflow orchestration. Until now there was no simple method of managing custom properties for the lifecycle of VMs after they’ve been provisioned.
Dynamic Resource Scheduler
The SovLabs vSphere Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) Module allows organizations to take advantage of VMware’s DRS technology to sub-divide vSphere Clusters for consumption by vRealize Automation. Utilizing the vSphere DRS host group feature, it’s possible to separate workloads onto specific host group(s) of ESXi hosts within a vSphere cluster, based on criteria such as OS type, application, or licensing restrictions without the need to create individual isolated vSphere clusters.
Learn MoreSnapshot Management
VMware vSphere VM snapshots are an excellent way to provide a quick point-in-time restore point for any vSphere-based virtual machine, for scenarios like OS updates, application changes or developer testing purposes. The ability to quickly roll back to a previous point in time has several advantages. With the built-in capabilities of vRealize Automation, entitled users can quickly create their own snapshots and restore those snapshots themselves.
VM Tagging
VM tags are metadata stored with the VM which can provide valuable operational insight into business-relevant data such as the machine’s function, organization alignment, regional and service level characteristics as well as security and application related information.
Cohesity
With the SovLabs vRealize Automation Backup-as-a-Service module for Cohesity, organizations who utilize Cohesity for backup and recovery can now have fully automated policy-driven backups and self-service file-level recovery directly within vRealize Automation, reducing the support burden, lowering risk and increasing end-user satisfaction.
Rubrik
With the SovLabs vRealize Automation Backup-as-a-Service module for Rubrik, organizations who utilize Rubrik for backup and recovery can now have fully automated policy-driven backups and self-service VM and file-level recovery directly within vRealize Automation, reducing the support burden, lowering risk and increasing end-user satisfaction.
Veeam
With the SovLabs vRealize Automation Backup-as-a-Service module for Veeam, organizations who utilize Veeam Backup and Recovery can now have fully automated policy-driven backups and self-service VM and file-level recovery directly within vRealize Automation, reducing the support burden, lowering risk and increasing end-user satisfaction.
Ansible Tower
The SovLabs Ansible Tower module enables advanced provisioning capabilities from vRealize Automation while providing the ability to manage dynamic inventories and grouping for ongoing Ansible Tower Day 2 management. With Tower, administrators can define job templates that call playbooks and execute against a specified inventory.
Puppet
The SovLabs Puppet Enterprise module for vRealize Automation increases IT agility and speed of delivery for systems and applications by combining SovLabs ModuleFramework with Puppet’s advanced configuration management and vRealize Automation’s provisioning and lifecycle management capabilities.
Red Hat Satellite
The SovLabs Red Hat Satellite module for vRealize Automation increases IT agility and speed of delivery by driving Red Hat Satellite’s software and subscription management features from a cloud consumption model. Organizations depend on Red Hat Satellite’s errata management capabilities to stay compliant with security and bugfix management.
Bluecat
The SovLabs BlueCat IPAM and DNS modules for vRealize Automation enable organizations who utilize BlueCat for centralized IP address management and/or DNS hosting to have a fully automated method of obtaining and releasing IP addresses and controlling DNS records at scale.
Infoblox
The SovLabs Infoblox IPAM and DNS modules for vRealize Automation enables organizations who utilize Infoblox for centralized IP address management and DNS hosting enabling a fully automated method of obtaining and releasing IP addresses and controlling DNS at scale.
Solarwinds
With the SovLabs vRealize Automation DNS module for SolarWinds IP Address Manager, organizations who utilize BIND or Microsoft for DNS hosting now have a fully automated method of controlling DNS records.
Our SolarWinds IPAM module for vRealize Automation, organizations who utilize SolarWinds for centralized IP address management can obtain and release IP addresses dynamically. IP subnets can now easily be shared between vRA deployments and alongside existing tools and devices without fear of IP conflict.
Learn MoreBT Diamond
With SovLabs BT Diamond Modules for IPAM and DNS, cloud architects can design a wide variety of integration scenarios using metadata-driven policies that can be dynamically assigned and controlled with the SovLabs Template Engine. DNS and IPAM configurations are interchangeable between endpoint providers helping you avoid lock-in.
Microsoft
Create flexible IPAM profiles and DNS configurations that include one or more Microsoft endpoints. Design a wide variety of integration scenarios using metadata-driven policies that can be dynamically assigned and controlled with the SovLabs Template Engine to minimize the effort needed to maintain integrations between vRA and Microsoft AD.
