StormForge Joins CNCF to Support the Kubernetes Community

This week StormForge announced we’ve become a part of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) to support the Kubernetes community and use of cloud native technologies. In supporting CNCF, we join more than 400 other organizations, including the world’s largest public cloud and enterprise software companies, as well as hundreds of startups.

As we’ve grown our own business and created the Red Sky platform, which uses AI to drive performance gains and energy efficiency in complex computing environments, we’ve relied on Kubernetes. We have been the beneficiary of a number of CNCF initiatives, so it was important to our team to join the foundation and give back to a community that shares our vision of open access and community engagement.

Part of StormForge’s contribution is our release of our new AIOps product, Red Sky Ops, as open source under the Apache v2 license. It includes the Red Sky Ops Kubernetes load balancer, controller, API services and authentication services. We invite you to explore the technology and to see how it can help you deploy, scale and manage your own applications. We hope you’ll give us feedback along the way or make your own contributions to Red Sky Ops.

Our commitment to open source is in the DNA of our team members, many of whom have contributed to projects for decades. We’re excited to empower others with Red Sky Ops because we believe we’re all better together as we push the boundaries at the intersection of software engineering and machine learning.
