Enterprises like yours are speeding up their digital transformation journey to deliver more value through software. They are progressing towards hybrid cloud and making it a core element in their digital transformation strategy. The measure of your success largely depends on how adeptly you navigate the new hybrid cloud space.

In our recent CloudBolt Industry Insights survey of more than 100+ tech executives, a few stats exemplified our customer challenges and what solutions we provide in response:

  • 94% of respondents believe hybrid cloud approach is critical for digital transformation.
  • 56% of ITOps, CloudOps, and FinOps teams want to be continuously notified of cost overruns and automatically remediate them, without the need for manual work, cloud bill downloads, and spreadsheets.
  • 76% of IT leaders are still custom coding at least a quarter of all their integrations.

We are very happy to announce our Spring Release helps our customers tackle these challenges confidently. Let’s jump into what we are announcing today in the Spring Release.

New intelligent optimizations for AWS and Azure

It is not surprising that many IT and FinOps teams are struggling with growing cloud costs. Older, Gen-1 tools help only so much. Currently, it takes a lot of manual effort to export reports in spreadsheets, download those and analyze them line-by-line to identify savings if you are using those old cost management tools. Some organizations use make-shift scripting or outsource identification of savings. This simply cannot scale. Also, you cannot keep up with the new public cloud services being launched every now and then. You need something reliable and better to solve this.

CloudBolt’s Cost Management platform helps you intelligently utilize workflow-based automation to continuously optimize cost overruns. In the current release we’re expanding our rightsizing capabilities for AWS (adding S3 and RDS) and Azure (with disk, snapshot, load balancers, and databases). We can automate the savings, with actions such as stopping, deleting, starting, etc. so that you can focus on more strategic activities. This has led to savings to the tune of 40% for our existing customers.

Powerful, simple compliance reporting and trending

In our survey, 78% of IT leaders said they have only limited insight into who is provisioning what, where they’re provisioning and how to remediate compliance and security gaps. Compliance and security challenges are very serious since they can have a very long-term impact on your top and bottom lines.

To help you stay compliant and drive more transparency, we are providing you a powerful solution to track multiple compliance frameworks such as AWS Well-Architected, HIPAA, NIST, CIS, etc. Through a single graphical view, you can see how your compliance adherence is trending. Are you doing better week over week, or month over month? These graphs can help you answer those questions and identify your Achilles’ heel from a compliance standpoint. Thus, this becomes your one-stop shop for identifying and remediating your compliance and security vulnerabilities.

New integrations that simplify and scale automation

While you are using hybrid clouds to solve your digital transformation challenges, the story is never complete with just your current tool sets. You need to integrate those game-changing technologies in your existing stack to empower your developers. However, 76% of IT leaders say they are still custom-coding at least a quarter of their integrations. This is not a long-term solution. This band-aid fix will come back to expose you at the most unwarranted times.

CloudBolt believes that you should be able to scale integrations in a codeless manner. With our Spring Release, we are launching three new integrations (modules) through our OneFuse platform: VMware vRealize Automation 8, ServiceNow CMDB, and SolarWinds IPAM now get added to our library of integrations.

These modules simplify and standardize consumption through policy-based use cases that can be altered without coding. Thus, simplifying the lives of subject matter experts (e.g., Active Directory, IPAM, vRA owners, etc.) as they no longer need to have coding expertise. Varying integration use cases can also be modeled before being built, so you can save time and resources by seeing and fixing issues before deployment. Finally, this release allows ITOps to group and view granular resources used or deployed via the module (e.g., vRA, Ansible, SolarWinds, DNS, ServiceNow, etc.), dramatically simplifying the high cost and complexity of custom integrations.

Don’t let these challenges we’ve discussed slow down your digital transformation journey.

See these new features in action on our webinar on June 15, or you can test these solutions yourself through our free trials.
